This historic “Chalet” style craftsman home on the beach in Pass Christian, MS was thankfully saved from Katrina’s devastation by the previous owners but left its new owner with a shell of a home needing extensive updates and improvements to the foundation, electrical, and plumbing systems along with all interior fixtures and finishes.
This new home, designed to accommodate a recent transplant from the City, is only steps from the beach in Waveland, Mississippi. The plan provides a large front porch for outdoor living space and shade from the late-day sun.
This home was designed and constructed to replace the nine-member family’s original home destroyed by lighting. The formal entry opens into a large double-height living space with an adjacent large eat-in Kitchen.
We renovated this raised coastal home with views across Bayou Delisle and the Wolf River. Upstairs the house provides views from front and back porches.
